Designed to fill three vital roles in one compact form factor, theDHA V226fromViolectricis a versatile D/A converter with a high-quality preamplifier and an audiophile balanced, stereo headphone amplifier. With support for 16- to 600-ohm headphones, this unit can drive the most demanding headphones, such as planars and low-impedance dynamics, while the Cirrus CS43131 DAC chip provides 32-bit digital-to-analog conversion, with support for up to 384 kHz PCM sampling rates and DSD256 decoding.
The V226 sports efficient I/O including unbalanced RCA input and output, multiple headphone outs including 1/4″, 4.4mm Pentaconn, and a true balanced XLR 4-pin out, as well as a USB-C digital input for DAC functions. With versatile, quality features like pre- and post-fader selection, pre-gain DIP switches, and a standard Alps RK 27 volume pot, it has never been simpler to control your signals.
Powerful Amplifier and PreamplifierThe V226 is designed to be operated as either a headphone amplifier or a loudspeaker preamplifier, with selectable inputs and outputs as well as pre or post gain routing. Protective circuits also help to avoid overloads.
Versatile DACThe V226 sports powerful DAC hardware via its Cirrus-based CS43131 DAC chip which supports 32-bit PCM decoding and an impressive 130 dB dynamic range. Through USB-C, sample rates as high as 384 kHz PCM and DSD256 can be achieved.
Professional Quality ElectronicsThe V226 is built to the highest standards with top-grade electronics. From high-quality resistors to reliable controls and connectors, this desktop unit is built to last for years of continuous use.
