TheShureQLXD2/N8Sis a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with QLX-D receivers. It comes equipped with a Nexadyne 8/S dynamic supercardioid capsule, featuring an innovative Revonic dual-transducer design that uses two separate, but interdependent sets of diaphragms, voice coils, and magnets. This unique technology gives this dynamic mic a condenser-like clarity with a crisp, yet natural high-end and plenty of detailallowing vocalists to worry less about mic technique and instead focus on delivering powerful performances. The supercardioid polar pattern delivers tight directionality, high gain before feedback, and enhanced rejection of off-axis sound.
This version of the QLXD2/N8S operates in the G50: 470 to 534 MHz band of the of the UHF spectrum, providing a wide 64 MHz tuning range with 2560 selectable frequencies available to secure a clear transmission channel. It operates for up to 9 hours on two AA batteries, with a transmission range up to 330′ and a selectable 1/10mW RF power output.
With a rugged, yet lightweight aluminum housing, the QLXD2/N8S transmitter delivers pristine audio quality and RF performance as well as AES 256-bit encryption for secure transmission and advanced rechargeability options.
