Deliver high-channel Dante and MADI counts to any Mac/Windows digital audio workstation with theRME HDSPe AoX-D 512-Channel PCI Express Card. Occupying a single slot, this PCIe interface transmits and receives up to 256 channels of Dante network audio signals on two separate RJ45 gigabit Ethernet ports.

The network audio channels can partially be replaced with MADI signals by adding up to two optional dual-optical SFP (AOX MADI Coax) or dual-coaxial (AoX MADI Optical) extension cards, making it possible to integrate four MADI I/O signals, and up to 256 network audio channels per direction, within a single audio interface.

Flexible Mixing & Routing with TotalMix

• The large number of channels can be managed by the user in two steps. Using a driver dialog or web interface, the user first adjusts the Dante network and optional MADI channel count, and then preselects which inputs reach the 256-channel TotalMix engine.
• The remaining 256 channels are passed straight through. All 512 channels are visible to the DAW for recording.
• TotalMix offers its basic functionality without effects, but with convenient features such as presets, layouts, loopback, submixes, and many more.

TotalMix: Mixing/Routing for Studio and Live Work

• The DSP-based TotalMix mixer allows fully independent routing and mixing of input and playback channels to all physical outputs. Independent stereo submixes, plus a comprehensive Control Room section, offer unrivalled monitoring capabilities and unsurpassed routing flexibility.

Optional MADI Expansion BoardsUp to two MADI expansion boards can be added to the PCIe card (either two coax or two optical boards, or a combination of both).

• AoX MADI Optical 128×128 MADI Expansion Board enables you to add 128 channels of MADI audio to the PCIe card. The board features two optical SFP I/O connectors and a BNC wordclock I/O connector (SFP Multimode MADI modules are included; the SFP Single Mode MADI module is optional).
• AOX MADI Coax 128×128 MADI Expansion Board enables you to add 128 channels of MADI audio to the PCIe card. The board features two BNC MADI input connectors and two BNC MADI output connectors. There is also a BNC wordclock in/out connector.
