Influenced by the classics and enthused by innovation, the Decision P Bass from Reverend is an elegant workhorse packed with dynamic tones and quality features, all at a great price. A solid korina body resonates with a thick, rich low-end tone complemented by a lightweight feel ready for all-night gigs or studio sessions. True to form, the beautifully designed Decision P offers decisions: a P-Blade pickup, a Jazz Bomb pickup, or both at once. Paired with a noteworthy pickup pan control, Reverends takes on J and P classics pack enough tones to set any bassist up for success. And at every turn, high-end appointments support the Decision Ps tonal prowess. Theres a high-mass bridge for clarity and sustain, a dual-contact Pure Tone jack, and aircraft-grade aluminum Hipshot Ultralite tuners for rock-solid stability and no neck dive. Take it from our bassists, lay your fingers or pick on the Decision P, and the only decision left will be choosing a case for this trophy of a bass!

P/J versatility Reverend style!

At Reverend, pickups are custom crafted to ensure a good match. The Decision Ps familiar P/J pickup combo was refined in-house for cleaner output and an arsenal of tones ready to bite, thump, growl, chug, and slap. The Jazz Bomb in the bridge position packs hefty midrange with a beefy attack and a warm growl that stands out in any mix. Conversely, the P-Blade in the neck delivers beloved P Bass personality with a twist. Our P Bass aficionados were puzzled by the P-Blades distinctive tone until they clocked the difference: this P-Blade flips the normal blade positions. The high-string blade falls toward the neck, and the low blade is closer to the bridge. The result is tighter lows and fatter highs we were blown away by the impact of what looks so small at first glance! Plus, the Decision P features a pickup pan control. The pan control offers classic 3-way pickup switching, but with tons of in-betweens and blended tones that 3-way switching could never achieve.

Rich tonewoods

Like every Reverend instrument, the Decision P features a korina body that produces warm, lively tones and rich harmonics. The 5-piece roasted maple neck means lightweight functionality and a stunning vintage appearance. An extended upper horn further balances the Decision P body to ensure neck-dive-free performance onstage. Tie it all together with a 6-bolt neck plate, and youre ready to log some serious gigging hours or stroll into your next studio session with full confidence.

Premium hardware and appointments

With the Decision Ps 3-string tree, Pure Tone jack, and high-mass bridge, you’ll soon realize boutique quality can be found at a fraction of the price! The high-mass bridge is an especially striking feature that adds value. The bridge accepts both string-through and top-load string setups, an option that practically doubles opportunities to tailor tone, sustain, and string feel, both now and years down the line. Take an even closer look and youll notice leading technician Zack Greens handwritten serial number and initialed seal of approval that’s stamped every Reverend instrument that’s left their doors since 1998. Players here who have plugged in a Reverend instrument know the name is akin to detail, precision, and decisive dedication.
