Lab Gruppen CM41 Commercial Mixer

TheLab.Gruppen CM41is a four-input, one-output commercial mixer well suited for distributed audio in bars, restaurants, retail destinations, hotels, corporate, education, or other venues needing background music and/or a public-address system. The mixer offers a configurable priority muting function for background music override, great for making announcements.

The rear panel offers four mic/line input channels that sum to mono. Channel A features a 3-pin Euroblock input with two additional pins that activate the priority function when shorted together. Channels B, C, and D offer balanced 3-pin Euroblock connectors and a pair of unbalanced RCA connectors (summed to mono) for connecting stereo sources such as players, phones, computers, and more. A 3-pin Euroblock output is provided for connecting to additional devices. The RJ45 port allows the mixer to be controlled via Ethernet from a broad range of remote-control options, such as the CRC-V Series of wall-mount controllers and the stylish tabletop controller, the LAB.Level (sold separately).

The front panel sports a power button and volume controls for each channel as well as a master volume control. Additionally, bass and treble controls are provided that allow you to dial in your best sound. The brushed, anodized aluminum enclosure is painted black with a steel bottom and can be used on a desktop or shelf thanks to the included four rubber feet. A rackmount kit is included and allows you several options for installation, including a half 19″ rack or full-rack enclosure as well as a pair of amplifiers can easily be mounted side-by-side in a single rack space. With the included brackets, the CM41 can also be mounted to a wall or under a table/shelf.

Control the volume levels remotely with the blackLab.Gruppen CRC-VUL, a single-gang volume remote control wall plate that’s designed for the CA, CM, CMA, and CPA series amplifiers. The wall plate features an RJ45 connector and connects to the amplifiers over Cat 5/6 cables (sold separately). The single control knob illuminates, allowing users to easily find it in a dark room. A maximum user volume can be set with the master volume on the amplifier which keeps the operator knob within a desired range.
