The RME M-32 DA Pro II-D is a top-of-the-line 32-channel, 192kHz D/A converter tailor-made for professional recording studios, immersive audio installations, live sound systems, and industrial applications. The M-32 DA Pro II-D boasts impressive specs, with extremely low THD values, intelligent channel routing, and dead-simple usability. You get a full complement of connectivity, including 32 analog outputs, along with 64 channels of Dante I/O and 128 channels of MADI I/O, plus word clock I/O and MIDI I/O. You can take command directly from the M-32 DA Pro II-D’s front panel, or you can configure your system over a network via an easy-to-use web-based interface. Tri-color, backlit channel indicators, peak/RMS metering, redundant power supplies, SyncCheck and ICC, security locking, and an eye-grabbing dark mode round out the RME M-32 DA Pro II-D. Engineers who need a reliable solution for analog conversion, along with high-end network audio processing, will get endless mileage out of the RME M-32 DA Pro II-D.
The M-32 DA Pro II-D completely eclipses the performance of RME’s previous generations of converters. This reference-class D/A unit houses a fully balanced analog circuit design with a 120dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio, astonishingly low latency, and -111dB of THD+N. You also get artifact-free conversion, thanks to impulse response optimization at sampling rates of 88.2 kHz and higher. To top it off, the M-32 DA Pro II-D operates at various line levels with full resolution to accommodate the full gamut of analog hardware.
In addition to a 128-in/128-out MADI interface, the RME M-32 DA Pro II-D supports Dante networking, enabling you to output 32 analog signals received from over a single Ethernet cable. The M-32 DA Pro II-D’s native Dante support provides direct connectivity to other audio devices via standard network switches, enabling you to record and play back up to 64 channels from your computer to any of the unit’s analog and digital I/O using Audinate’s Dante Virtual Soundcard (license sold separately). The M-32 DA Pro II-D includes two redundant network ports for rock-solid reliability.
This D/A converter’s tri-color, backlit channel label fields are a huge advantage in fixed installations, allowing you to attach transparent channel labels to the unit’s front panel via a magnetic cover, where they illuminate depending on signal level. You can also access the M-32 DA Pro II-D remotely over your network (including wirelessly over Wi-Fi), allowing for lightning-fast configuration and control. Moreover, a JSON-based API and SysEx MIDI commands can be used to integrate the unit anywhere. You also get an integrating routing matrix, which permits single-channel routing across all analog and digital I/O.
