ThePX-B Snakeis part of theXvivePX three-channel personal in-ear monitoring system for musicians and performers. Use it to supply three channels of audio and PoE to a PX-A beltpack mixer (available separately). The snake’s three balanced XLR inputs (three XLR to 1/4″ TS adapters are included) connect to outputs (typically aux outs) from the console or other audio sources. Then simply connect the snake’s Ethernet output to the Ethernet input on the PX-A (the separately available 25-foot EC25 cable is recommended) and performers can dial in a custom 3-channel mix for their headphones or in-ear monitors.
If you’re performing or rehearsing with a band, the PX-B snake also supports the PX-H five-channel hub (available separately). The hub accommodates up to five PX-A mixers via Cat 5 cables. Conveniently, only one PX-B snake and one power supply are needed to send audio to the hub and supply all connected the mixers with power.
